Cascadia Creamery, Ferndale Farmstead, and Samish Bay Cheese were featured in an article in Cheese Reporter published on March 19, 2021.

The cover story, titled, “Washington State Cheese Community Growing, Gathering Artisan Honors,” recognized the three creameries for sweeping the North Region category for cheeses in the 2021 Good Food Awards.

The article went on to discuss the growth and success of the Washington cheese industry over the past few years. WASCA President Meghan McKenna and Executive Director Courtney Johnson were both interviewed for the article, as well.

Cheese Reporter is an industry newspaper that has served the world’s cheese manufacturing and milk processing industries since 1876. The publication is available in-print and online to subscribers.
