The Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) resulted in the Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCHF) rule. This rule requires that all workers employed by a food company must be qualified individuals. To be a qualified individual each employee must receive annual training in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety. The rule also uses the terms Food Hygiene, Preventive Controls and HACCP as does this training.

This training is intended to meet the requirements of annual/refresher training for any food worker in the areas of food hygiene and food safety. These two modules will be presented via zoom meeting platform and require appropriate connectivity. An outline of the course materials will be provided and instruction includes lecture, discussion and successful completion of a quiz. Attendees participating (video on)  for the full 4 hours and passing the quiz at 80% will be awarded a certificate of completion as documentation of the training.

Date and Time: Monday June 20, 2022 from 2-6 P.M.

Where: Zoom link will be provided after registration.

Registration Fee: $49
