On May 4 and 5, WASCA is taking part in its first-ever GiveBig WA! Campaign.
GiveBig WA! allows non-profit organizations to fundraise through the GiveBig platform. The donation drive takes place twice a year, but participating organizations can receive donations at any time.
As a 501(c)6 organization with few opportunities to apply for grants, WASCA is funded primarily by membership dues and some donations. The fundraiser drive will allow WASCA a new avenue to raise money for initiatives that include providing cheesemaker education opportunities and creating materials for marketing and promotion activities like the Washington Cheese Trail Map and forthcoming Washington Cheese sticker.
