The winners of the American Cheese Society Judging & Competition were announced this week at the society’s annual conference in Buffalo, New York.
We congratulate all of the winners, but especially our licensed cheesemaker members who received awards in the competition.
- Beecher’s Handmade Cheese (Seattle): Flagship Reserve (3rd place – Best in Show); Plain Cheese Curds (2nd); Flagship Reserve (1st); 4-Year Flagship (1st); Marco Polo Reserve (3rd)
- Cherry Valley Dairy (Duvall): Herbed Rose Butter (Top 10 – Best in Show); Unsalted Butter (1st); Herbed Rose Butter (1st); Coffee Butter (2nd)
- Fantello Farmstead Creamery (Enumclaw): Plateau (2nd place); Spicy Filomena (2nd place)
