WASCA held its Annual Member Meeting as a hybrid in-person and online meeting on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The in-person portion of the meeting was held at The Butcher’s Table in Seattle.

The meeting welcomed 14 in-person attendees and 12 online attendees. The agenda dictating the meeting’s focus is posted here.

We were honored to have three local chefs join us as guest speakers during the meeting: Chef Karen Jurgensen (Chef Instructor, Seattle Culinary Academy), Chef Mahogany Williams (Owner, The Pickled Chef), and Chef Paul Rosquita (Executive Chef, The Gates Foundation). Karen, Mahogany, and Paul fielded questions about cheese in the professional kitchen and in culinary education.
