WASCA’s 2021 USDA Farmers Market Promotion Program grant award has made it into the news twice.
Cheese Reporter announced the award in the November 26 issue of the long-running industry newspaper. In an article titled, “Cheese, Dairy Projects Receive Grants Under USDA Farmers Market, Local Food Programs,” WASCA was called out along with the other dairy-based award winners, the Maine Organic Milk Company and M3 Coop Feasibility LLC of Maryland, both of whom received Local Food Promotion Program grants.
Culture Magazine announced the award in the January 11 issue of its Counter Culture newsletter for cheese professionals. The newsletter referred to WASCA’s own announcement, which you can read here.
