Cascadia Creamery (Trout Lake) and Girl Meets Dirt (Eastsound) are finalists in the 2022 Good Food Awards.
Cascadia Creamery is a finalist for their cheese Glacier Blue, a natural-rind, raw-milk, organic blue cheese.
Girl Meets Dirt is a finalist in the category of elixirs for their Barrel Aged Peach Tree Bitters, Island Pear with Bay Leaf Shrub, and Island Plum Shrub, and in the category of Preserves for their Pink Bartlett Cutting Preserves.
Cascadia Creamery won a Good Food Award in 2021 for their Sleeping Beauty. They joined two other creameries (WASCA member Samish Bay Cheese, for Vache, and Ferndale Farmstead, for Smokey Scamorza and Fontina) in sweeping the north region cheese category.
Girl Meets Dirt also received a Good Food Award in 2021 in two categories. In the category of preserves, they won an award for their Rhubarb Lavender Spoon Preserves. In the category of elixirs, they won awards for their Rhubarb Shrub and Shiro Plum Tree Bitters.
